Ok, Justin, so I want to commission you...now what?
As you've probably noticed, there are two main styles of work on this site: Watercolour & Pencils..The process for each is quite different but the initial commission is quite similar.
All of my commissioned works are done on acid free bristol board (drawings) and 140lb HP watercolour paper (watercolours) & are usually sold unmatted - to save on shipping costs.If you would like your work matted, let me know, Im happy to do so.
All watercolours are painted with artists' quality, permanent watercolours to last a lifetime.
The 'standard' sizes for my portraits are: 11x14" (pencil) and either 9 x 12 or" 11 x 15 (w"atercolour). If you would like a different size, this is no problem, but costs will of course increase for larger works.
For reference, I usually ask for 2 or 3 photos of the person in question - scanned/ digital emailed photos.
Most works that i am commissioned to do are portraiture, however I can certainly be contacted for any 'type' of painting you are interested in.
